This is an electric pallet jack. Electric pallet jacks are typically used in medium to larger sized warehouses where the use of a manual pallet jack would either be detrimental to productivity or could lead to workplace injuries due to high use.
LiftScience Brand electric pallet jacks are powered by a rechargeable battery and will easily run an entire 8 hour work shift in-between charges. Electric pallet jacks will operate as fast as a quick walking speed but is also easily controlled by the variable thumb controlled handle down to a crawling pace to enable careful maneuvering. A horn, key lock switch and belly reverse switch are included for safety.

This electric pallet jack will lift a total of 3300 pounds to a height of 6" and easily move throughout your warehouse. Its operation is smooth both in lifting and moving. The ergonomic handle easily allows you to control all of the motions.
Power: 24-volt powered lift and drive system. Deep cycle batteries with external charger.
Drive Unit: The drive unit is equipped with an electromagnetic disc brake that is spring applied and electrically released. Brake is activated by the control handle position. Regenerative motor braking assists brake effort and improves component life.
Control Handle: The control handle is designed to allow for a minimum turning radius with low-steering effort. All control buttons can be operated with either hand and can be accessed with minimum hand and wrist movement. An ergonomic forward / reverse thumb wheel allows for precise maneuvering. The handle also incorporates the horn button and belly switch.

How long will the battery last in this electric pallet jack?
This is a two part question: 1) How long will it last in daily use? and 2) What is the battey's lifespan in an electric pallet jack before needing to be replaced? The battery will easily last a complete 8 hour work day. These are deep cycle lead acid construction batteries which are designed to supply a steady current and voltage for a long period of time. As with all batteries, some periodic maintenance of cleaning the terminals and making sure the connections are tight is required. After cleaning, any anti-corrosion product typically availalbe at an auto parts store should be applied. The battery will last for several years if cared for properly. In addition to the maintenance mentioned above, the batteries should be charged regularly, if not daily, then certainly weekly. Even if the electric pallet jack has not been used much and the batteries seem to be nearly fully charged, a recharging will help lengthen their life by preventing the build up of sulphate compounds on the plates.
Where can I buy replacement batteries for electric pallet jacks and how much with they cost?
Replacement batteries are most easily purchased through a local industrial supply company such as Grainger or virtually any auto parts store. Typical cost will be $100-$300.
How can I get my electric pallet jack serviced?
Virtually any material handling equipment company can service our electric pallet jacks. Most of the technology and components are industry standard. We stock many of the parts in our Seattle warehouse.
Does an operator of an electric pallet jack need training or certification?
Unlike a traditional sit down forklift, an electric pallet jack truck operator usually does not need a formal license or certification; although you are advised to contact your local or state Occupational Safety office for complete details. Training in the safe operation is a smart thing to do and should be completed. It is possible to use our Operation's Manual as a guildline for training or to procure any of the many training packages which are commercially available.
How will are electric pallet jacks delivered?
Electric pallet jacks delivered either in a wooden crate or securely attached to a pallet. If you do not have a truck height loading dock, you will need either a pallet stacker / forklift to unload the truck or we can arrange a truck with a liftgate (extra charge) for delivery.
Will there be any assembly required of this electric pallet jack?
Your electric pallet jack will come completely assembled and ready to use after a charge. There is no assembly required.
Can I use my own trucking company or pick the electric pallet jack up myself at your warehouse?
Sorry, we only ship electric pallet jacks under our own freight accounts. We used to allow customer arranged shipping but found ourselves taken advantage of in too many ways. In order to maintain our low prices, we no longer can afford to deviate from our process. Also, since we ship out of several different warehouses we cannot offer local pickup.
Do I have to pay sales tax when buying an electric pallet jack?
We collect sales tax on electric pallet jacks delivered within the State of Washington.
